Alex (founder) needs to tell his client Marcus that their Q3 integration is slipping three weeks.

What you type

Tell Marcus the Q3 integration will be delayed by 3 weeks. We found edge cases in testing.

Dear Marcus,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to provide you with an important update regarding the Q3 integration project.

During our rigorous testing phase, our team identified several edge cases that require additional attention to ensure we deliver a solution that meets our high standards of quality. As a result, the integration timeline will need to be extended by approximately three weeks.

We understand the impact this may have on your planning and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause. Please rest assured that we are fully committed to delivering a robust and reliable integration.

Sincerely,
Alex

Why one prompt isn't enough

Ghostwriters rewrite every AI draft

You know the client's voice. ChatGPT doesn't. You spend more time editing than writing, stripping corporate filler and forcing the draft to sound like someone else.

VAs juggle multiple executive voices

One principal wants crisp and formal. Another wants warm and brief. Switching context shouldn't mean re-prompting from scratch every time you change inboxes.

Clients notice the wrong voice

When the email sounds like a template and the LinkedIn post sounds like you, trust erodes. Named personas keep every channel consistent without rewriting from zero.

Three steps to drafting in persona

STEP 1

Name your persona

Create a persona in Echo: "Sarah", "Northline", "CEO voice". Free tier includes one; Pro and Ultra unlock more slots.

STEP 2

Fill the template or import

Start from Echo's default markdown template or import a .md communication fingerprint. Edit until the voice is ready. Settings shows when it's customized.

STEP 3

Draft in that persona

Pick a channel target, paste context, generate. Echo resolves the active persona automatically. Switch personas from the workspace when you change clients or roles.

Everything you need to draft in persona

GUI first: channel-aware drafts on your desktop. Built-in MCP second: the same rules in assistants and workflows you already run, not a coding-only add-on.

Drafting workstation

Pick a channel target, paste context, get output shaped for email, threads, posts, or messages, then paste into Mail, Slack, LinkedIn, or wherever you work.

Named personas

Create personas in Settings or import a communication fingerprint (.md). Switch the active persona from the workspace when you change clients or roles.

Local-first by design

Personas and drafts stay on your machine. Remote calls are only for app updates and the AI APIs you configure with your own keys.

BUILT-IN MCP

Same persona in your assistants

Perennial Echo ships with an MCP server bundled and ready to use: the same persona and channel rules as the app. Connect it to AI assistants and automations you already run. Included in the free app, not a separate integration to request.

Need a research-backed persona file?

Echo works with the default template, personas you write, or a communication fingerprint from Perennial Fundamental. Import as a named persona in Settings.
